Since February, I’ve been covering the lying, manipulation, deflection, and ironic indiscretions of the anti-mlm movement. I feel strongly about the integrity of this movement because I was once a top leader in multilevel marketing and when I left in early 2022, I needed support. I found it…well, at least I thought I had found it through the anti-mlm creator movement where I tuned in primarily through YouTube.

However, I started to notice that some of the people who were leading this movement were becoming toxic, slowly but surely, and the more I watched the worse it seemed to get. Creators were throwing ad hominem around like Oprah and they started aiming more and more personal digs at the women featured on their screens. It seemed as if they were testing the waters, per se. It appears that the more attention they got when they did a particular thing, the more they did the said thing. This doesn’t fare well when you are dealing with real people and real emotions. I started to feel sorry for the ladies on the screens and finally, in February, I took up for them. Ever since then, I’ve found plenty of content to cover- it seems that there is no shortage of ad hominem-focused, attention-seeking, drama-filled, pot-stirring behavior on these anti-mlm streets.

The strangest part- the people who are supposed to, by their own claims, be standing up for the victims of manipulative marketing tactics and unethical practices are the ones being manipulative and unethical. Blatantly Without regard. Right in our freaking faces. AS IF we are not intelligent enough to discern their tactics.

Well, it only continued to get worse and in the beginning of October, a creator I have featured multiple times for her questionable behavior was caught buying a product from an MLM. A RING. She was B U S T E D buying a bomb party ring!
