hi this video is part of a four-part VPS video course that covers why you should be using a VPS creating a VPS and signing in loading your metatrader platform and robots into your VPS and creating portfolios up to 32 metatrader accounts please make sure that you watch these videos in sequence right so the first thing we want to do is add a an metatrader platform and we want to add the trading robot that we're going to use so let's do that so what I'm going to do is I have two programs that I need to load onto the VPS the one is the metatrader platform and I'm going to be using IG as my platform so I need to load the IG setup and I also need to load the profit retriever which is the trading robot that I'm going to be using so to do that I actually load those files onto my own computer my my working computer and I'll just show you very quickly I've loaded them onto my desktop so I've loaded them onto my desktop and all I do now is I'm I highlight both of them right click and copy and then then I go to my desktop which is open as you can see now I go to my file manager I go to downloads which should be empty and I paste

those two files in there now that is one of the benefits of this particular VPS you can just copy and paste your files across so there we are I have my files that I want to use and what I'm going to do straight away is I'm going to open the IG platform and there we are it says yes and away we go and it's opening the platform and there is the icon on the on the screen it might start opening now so we're going to open a demo account so we go next we're going to say it's a new demo account and we although it says a hundred thousand it's going to open a ten thousand dollar account and there's the leverage and I say I agree what I then do is I click on next and there we are there's the new account open I say finish and what it will do it'll go and update all the charts straight away so now we have our platform in place okay so the next thing is I'm going to load the profit retriever so I just click on the profit retriever it is a setup file there it is hiding behind there I say yes I accept next and there are only two ones I'm only going to go for the uh I'll do both that's fine install in the above instances might not like the one and away it goes

and finished so this is now my first IG platform and I'm actually going to change it now I'm going to call it and give it a name and I'm going to call it just ig1 just as a reference and there we have our first account we now go to their expert advisors open it up we don't see the one but we just say refresh and there is the profit retriever okay so now uh we have one platform going what I'm going to do is I'm going to set that platform up ready for trading and I let's say we're going to trade the pound which is on that that chart over there that's the pound I'm gonna get rid of all unnecessary stuff that we don't need every delete so now we've got a clean chart of the pound and then I'm going to move the profit retriever onto that chart and I'm going to say common allow live trading allowed dull Imports I'm not going to worry too much about the inputs at the moment because this is auto trading is off and I'm going to say okay then it's going to ask me for my access code and if you don't know your access code there we are what is my exit click here and you'll know what your ex I'm going to enter my X access code and it has opened up it says it's ready to trade the only thing I need to do is get rid of the auto trading and it will start trading so essentially we can actually start trading with this particular one I like having a bit of a gap on that side but the big now we need to start saving space because we are using a VPS and the VPS uh is short of resources so the the first thing you need to do is close everything that you don't need there's our ten thousand dollars that we spoke about earlier now you'll see there's a huge list of of of currencies in fact if you go and you show all you the it's a massive list of currencies but we are only trading the pound on this platform so we're not interested in any other
