One more thing, there was a poisonous seed in all of that.
All of these US early IQ testers and developers of the early 20th century
program, were part of the Eugenics movement.
I mean, that alone should tell you how bias their thinking was, as they constructed these tests.
What's Eugenics?
Well Eugenics is the beliefs that people of certain races and cultures and ethnicities are superior to others.
Well all Asians are superior, but I bring the curve down there.
That was a problem.
I mean everybody looks at me like, I must be Asian, I must be smart,
but I bring the curve down wherever I go.
Well back when it was developed it was the belief that the people of Northern European, heritage were brilliant and as you work your way to the equator, IQs drop.
And Carl Brigham had profound regrets about his test by the way.
