Sandeep Maheshwari and Vivek Bindra both are celebrity Motivational speakers. Both are YouTubers and businessmen as well. But a new controversy erupted on Dec 12th when Maheswari was interacting with some young people at his show.

They were talking about a celebrity YouTuber who was selling business training courses. The youth said that they spent 35000 to 50000 rupees on the course but it was a sham. The course did not add any value to their life. They were duped of money. The course seller sold them dreams of earning lakhs in a month.

Now they were struggling to recover the cost. The course seller asked them to sell his course to others to recover costs. No one was named in the show. But it came out that the person who was being discussed in the show was none other than Vivek Bindra.

Bindra sent his men to the door of Sandeep Maheshwari. Even sent a legal notice and asked him to take down the video from the YouTube platform. Both are now engaged in verbal as well as legal battles but there are a few lessons from the whole fiasco.

Whatever Vivek Bindra was doing resembles MLM' or multi-level marketing scheme where no one is an employer or employee. Every person contributes money to business even before earning a single penny.

However, there is one problem with MLM schemes. There is no need for any special kind of merit or eligibility to join them. Anyone who has money can join an MLM company and to earn money either have to sell products or add more people in the downline.

Person profiteers only when he has enough persons in his downline. Here things go out of hand. As there is no employer in this scheme and everyone works as an independent businessman one has to resort to unethical means to sell products or services.

Lies and deceit become the part of the game. Most of the MLM industry works on show-off. People are called into 5-star hotels for seminars. Big checks are displayed with amounts going to lakhs or crores.

And a dream is sold to everyone that you also can be like her or him. All you need to join our team. People are pumped by cheers chest thumping and motivational speeches by panelists.

Out message to viewers apply your logic before giving your money to anyone. If someone became successful by buying a course it does not mean that course is suitable for you as well.
