Superstore Corporate Greed and antienvironmental. Here’s why (Edmonton West)

Superstore is against the environment in pursuit of maximum profits (what a surprise right?). Refusing to sell good value (lower profit margin) Blue bins while pushing many cheap, tiny "reusable" bags at a premium price.

They preach they're environmentally friendly wanting people to use reusable containers, and even more so now that Canada has passed laws against certain things, and the city of Edmonton in particular has recently passed bylaws against plastic bags, etc. So They have these amazing blue bins (was green years back) that they sell only for $6ea (great value and fair) but they've always hidden them in the back corner of the store, furthest away from the front checkout.

Backstory:
I complained for years about this. I go there (typically 2-3 times a week) and so comment to management at customer service, on this every few weeks, roughly 1 out of 10 visits. Finally, after a few years, they redesigned the self-serve checkout area, (to help direct traffic properly instead of haphazardly and increase upsells as they walk you past a ton of impulse purchases (fine). Right exactly in the perfect spot, they have a whole section where you can buy the blue bins. PERFECT. Right before the self-serve, right before you need something to put things into. Brillant (and I even went up to management and complimented them on this the first week) But almost every single time I go there since, maybe 20-plus times since that first week, over a few months. Only one time since were there any blue bins, its always EMPTY. It's not like they sold out because many times I've gone to the farthest corner of the store and there's always a pallet of them just sitting there. WHY DOES SUPERSTORE not want to sell lots of the blue bins? Because the profit margin is optimal on the cheap (even tinier) crap plastic (fabric* with a star) bags they now sell and label as reusable (but don't say not practical and easily thrown away). And so I was so moved to make yet another video of this to hopefully move corporate to change their overall policy and for sure SuperStore Edmonton West. Please share and comment if you find the same thing in your store, or maybe even worse? Are any stores doing a great job at giving good service and value to their users?
