5️⃣ DISCOVER IT CASHBACK CREDIT CARD
- Discover's limited-time offer: unlimited cashback match. Discover will match your first year's cash back. No minimum or maximum awards. You may double $150.
- Up to the quarterly limit, get 5% cash back on Amazon.com, grocery shops, restaurants, petrol stations, and PayPal payments. Automatic 1% cash back on all other purchases.
- $0 annual fee
4️⃣ CHASE SAPPHIRE RESERVE
Chase Sapphire Reserve has an annual fee of $550, which might make you think it's a luxury card, but savvy vacationists know what a steal it is with its generous rewards and amazing travel perks.
- Advantages - Chase Dining, Ultimate Rewards hotel stays, and car rentals earn 10 points per dollar, Ultimate Rewards air travel earns 5 points per dollar, and all other purchases earn 1 point per dollar. Chase points are worth 1.5 cents when redeemed for travel. $300 in travel credit, airport lounge access, and TSA PreCheck or Global Entry fee reimbursement.
- Disadvantages - The card's $300 travel credit makes the fee worthwhile. This card is for serious travelers.
3️⃣ CHASE FREEDOM UNLIMITED CARD
- Earn 1.5% cash back on all purchases (up to $20,000 in the first year) - up to $300.
- 6.5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards, our premier rewards program that lets you redeem rewards for cash back, travel, gift cards and more; 4.5% cash back on drugstore purchases and dining at restaurants, including takeout and eligible delivery service; and 3% on all other purchases (up to $20,000 in the first year).
- After your first year or $20,000 spent, get 5% cash back on Chase travel bought via Ultimate Rewards, 3% cash back on pharmacy purchases and eating at restaurants, including takeout and delivery, and 1.5% cash back on all other purchases.
- No cash-back minimum.
2️⃣ AMERICAN EXPRESS PLATINUM CARD
The American Express Platinum Card is expensive, but if you want to travel like a VIP, it's totally worth it and my #1 favorite credit card for booking flights and travel. You can apply here: https://cutt.ly/amex-platinum-card-youtube
- Advantages - This card is for luxury travelers. 5 points per dollar on airfare and hotels and 1 point per dollar elsewhere. Perks are the real value. There's a $200 annual credit for airline fees and up to $200 for Uber. You'll get Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fees and a Clear membership every five years. You get access to 1,200 airport lounges and hotel perks. New cardholders get a big welcome offer.
- Disadvantages - $695 is a mainstream card's highest annual fee. Traveling cheaply yields poor rewards. American Express isn't as widely accepted globally as Visa and Mastercard, despite being geared toward travelers.
1️⃣ Amex Gold is great. It's a popular during the epidemic due of its great rewards rate on restaurants (including takeout and delivery in the U.S.) and U.S. stores. Bonus points are also available for trips. This card offers up to $120 in Uber Cash (for U.S. Uber rides or Ubereats orders) and up to $120 in yearly dining statement credits at qualifying partners. Required enrollment.
