Elon Musk Donated $100 million dollars to a charity, but the charity took the money and ran.

In 2015, Elon Musk and a few friends founded a non profit research lab. Their mission was to protect the world from the dangers of AI, by developing the AI. Cuz without the motivation of profit, people would trust them to control it. But in 2018,

Elon was forced to leave.

At first, there was no problem with this. Elon had a conflict of interest from his other companies developed competing AI. While the charity, was openly sharing their research. But just 1 year after Elon left, the charity did the one thing

Elon begged them not to.

The non profit, made a for profit company. Then they raised a billion dollars from investors. Then they stopped sharing research. Because their new opinion is that it's dangerous to share details with the public. But is it that, or does OpenAI want to stay ahead of competitors and maximise profit?
